This website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany); a data processing agreement is in place. When you access the site, we process technically necessary server log data (incl. IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser type) for the purpose of secure and stable operation and defense against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in IT security and operation, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This server log data is deleted after no more than 7 days.

When you reserve a spot with us, we process your email address to send a confirmation email and to notify you, primarily, as soon as an onboarding slot for new clients or testers becomes available. Occasionally we may also inform you about relevant news, such as new products. Providing your email is voluntary; without it we cannot notify you.

Sending and storage are handled by our processor Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH / Brevo SAS) with data centers in the EU (Germany/France); a data processing agreement is in place with Brevo.

Double opt-in: you are only added to our interest list after clicking the link in the confirmation email. As proof of consent we store the time of registration and confirmation. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

We store reservation data until you withdraw consent; unconfirmed signups are deleted after 60 days at the latest. Server log data is deleted after no more than 7 days.

So the site can remember your light/dark setting, we store this preference locally in your browser (local storage). This is a strictly necessary display preference that you choose yourself and is therefore exempt from consent under § 25(2) TDDDG. We do not use any tracking or advertising cookies, no analytics tools, and no third-party embeds. A cookie or consent banner is therefore not required.

All processing takes place within the EU/EEA; no transfer to third countries outside the EU/EEA takes place. No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

You have the rights to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
